Originally a historian, Bon Bon
Vivant discovered the
art of burlesque while researching the Old Howard theater
in Boston’s once booming red light district.
Wishing to revive the lost art, Bon Bon put down her books,
took off her glasses, and learned to remove a few other
things as well!
She is known for sophisticated costuming and elegant
poise that evokes eras past in numbers such as Jeanie’s
Evil Twin, the Flamingo 50th Anniversary fan dance, and
the hoop-skirted Harlot O’Hara.
Add all that class with humorous, tongue in cheek shtick
for flavor and you have one of the most popular performers
in Texas today, quickly climbing the ranks
towards national headlining Burlesque Stardom.
She is a crowd favorite of Lunatic Fringe Burlesque Co.,
Austin’s annual Swamp Romp, Babes in Sin, Sideshow Burlesque,
Miss Exotic World Pageant & High Rockabilly Fest in
Barcelona, Spain.
