Perle
Noire: The Black Pearl, is a naturally gifted
actress-singer-dancer who helped shape New Orleans Burlesque
Nouveu. As a dancer, she has won numerous awards in ballroom
and Latin dance from dance studio leader, Arthur Murray
and served as choreographer to the JOI Lounge Band in
Las Vegas.
Ms. Noir is also one of the choreographers
for "Backstage
At Da Fonky B." Her
singing credits include the original cast recording for "Backstage
At Da Fonky Burlesk" as well as work as a backround
vocalist to the JOI Lounge Band in Las Vegas.
Nedra Ne'Quan
pays tribute to the Great Joesephine Baker with New Orleans
own "Bustout Burlesque" and received the name
Perle Noire the Black Pearl. She has been featured in
the L.A Times, Times Picayune and recently appeared on
MTV's hit series Sweet Sixteen.
She
is fully committed, dances like she knows what she's
doing, and looks like she's having a great time. She
was clearly born to be onstage. When Ne'Quan is up there,
something is always happening. She also earns congratulations
for executing an impressive split wearing spiked high
heels.
